Ahhh, the good ole lunchbox. I remember hauling mine to school each day wondering what my mom had placed inside. I also remember the first day of school, and how proud I was of the lunchbox of the year! Looking back, some of my favorites were, my My Little Pony one, my She-Man one, and who can forget Strawberry Shortcake! All this lunchbox talk is making me want to bring a lunchbox to work everyday!
I”ll always remember those kids in school that had the awesome lunch boxes with superheroes or funny cartoons on them. Most of the time, I”d bring my lunch to school in a boring old brown paper bag. I was so jealous of the cool kids with cool lunch buckets. Sure, you could turn a paper bag upside-down and make it a somewhat plain-looking puppet, but that”s about all you can do.
Or so I thought…
An artistically gifted mom recently posted on reddit about how, even if her they don”t have fancy lunchboxes, her kids have the coolest brown paper bags that anyone has ever seen.
This mom decided she was gonna make her kids” lunch bags a little extra special by drawing awesome pictures on each bag.
Some of these drawings are characters from movies, some are from her own imagination, and all of them are super cool.
Here”s a great one of the family dog, Frisbee.
I guess everyone in the house likes Mike and Sully.
This one is classic – Slimer and the Stay Puffed Marshmallow Man.
A great depiction of Harry Potter, lightning scar and all.
And of course you can”t forget good ol” Hedwig. This reminds me: when will mail delivery via owls become a thing? Still waiting.
Here”s a collection of different paper bag drawings. Kudos for the drawings of Squidward and Patrick.
Oh Grumpy Cat, the internet”s spirit-animal. And a pleasant picture of a bird singing to blue skies.
Gimme dat laser shark! I guess the unicorn is nice too, but that laser shark is sick!
After seeing these, I”m definitely gonna have to step up my brown paper bag game.
